However, if your panels are exposed to moderate or excessive dust due to construction, agricultural activities, or proximity to dirt roads, pollen from nearby trees or any unforeseen events, such as thick smoke from fires, you may need service more frequently.

The technician will survey the safest most practical access to your panels via ladder or from the ground using a specialized extendable pole.
We will need access to an outdoor water outlet, garden hose size. The system utilizes less than a gallon per minute and the job will usually take 30-60 minutes. 

Any messes will be cleaned up prior to the technician leaving the jobsite. 

With the recent rains in Sonoma County, people often ask me if rain is enough to clean their solar panels.  Rain will provide a minimal rinse off any loose dirt or dust, but it will not remove the built up grime and and baked on debris that accumulates between cleanings. Our deionized water, along with some good old-fashioned elbow grease with our specialized brush, will return those panels to peak production and longevity.

With the days shorter in the winter months, your panels will inherently receive less sunlight throughout the course of the day.
